The Alpha Course, a twelve
week exploration of the Christian faith,
is offered this spring/summer in the Discovery
Worship Center.
The Wednesday evening
course will run from April 23 through July 9, 6pm –
8pm.
The Alpha Course provides a
great opportunity to examine in a relaxed
atmosphere questions about the
Bible, Jesus, faith, the Holy Spirit and
much, much more. It is open to all. The
Alpha Course provides an excellent opportunity
to see and experience what
Christianity is all about.
If you have questions about the Christian
faith, feel a hunger for more meaning in
your life, or if you’re simply new to Discovery
and want to “see” what we believe,
then Alpha is for you.
The course is taught by Pastor Chris Kohlbry, Mike Runion and Dave Pollard
and will feature dinner at 6pm, a short
time of worship, and some time in small
groups to reflect on the evening's topic.
Be sure to set aside Saturday June 7 between 9am and 12 Noon for the "Holy Spirit Breakfast". This breakfast provides a wonderful time to become acquainted with the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the impact He can have in our lives.
