Healing & Prayer

An army that marches on its knees

Knowing that prayerlessness is our declaration of independence from God, we seek to make prayer a vital part of every ministry. We don’t just want to simply be a church with a prayer ministry, but a praying church.

We do, however, have a core group of intercessory teams who meet every Sunday morning before worship to pray specifically for God to move in the gathering time. Separately, we have healing and prayer teams who are available at the conclusion of every Sunday morning gathering and throughout the week. In addition, they commit to special visitations for those hospitalized or shut-in. The members of these teams participate in regular training and accountability to the church’s leadership. We take this ministry very seriously and provide extensive and ongoing training/equipping. Those interested should contact Lynn Popp or Hal Janke .

A Thursday night prayer time (6:30 at the church) is open to any and all.

Prayer requests may be e-mailed to Lynn Popp at any time. You may indicate a request to include your name or be anonymous, and indicate if the request is to be shared with the intercessory groups, or with a pastoral ministry staffperson.  We would also love to hear praises about those who have accepted Christ, answered prayer requests, or something you would like us to know about. We also have visitor/prayer request cards you may fill out and submit in person on Sundays.
