Special Projects

In addition to the tithe that God asks of us, we may feel called to give above and beyond, either to the church directly, or to one of the special initiatives or projects Discovery is involved with.

Anyone can give specifically to a help support a ministry (i.e. Children, Youth, Worship, etc.) at any time, here are a few targeted things you may want to give toward:

Blessing Boxes: Assembling and delivering boxes with full meal contents and other items to needy families in the community. This takes place during every major holiday. You may nominate a family for a special Blessing Box by contacting Heather Willey at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

The Marriage Course: Ministry geared toward strengthening marriages by providing a romantic, comfortable atmosphere where valuable teaching takes place. Any donations go to providing meals and childcare each week, allowing couples to take full advantage of the incredible benefit of this awesome series.

Any checks designated for one of these may be made to Discovery Church with the ministry/initiative notated in the “memo” field.
